Congratulations to twins Flynn and Connor McLean who were named the Referees of the Year for the 2020-21 season.
Refereeing for Mudgee Touch over the past couple of seasons, this year the brothers refereed each week throughout the season in both junior and senior competitions, refereed at Don Green Western Junior Championships, refereed on behalf of their schools and achieved their Level 2 Referees badge.
The brothers were presented with the Jim Yeo perpetual trophy by the award’s namesake.
Mudgee Touch and NSW Touch Life Member Jim Yeo is a retired Level 6 referee and Level 4 National Referee coach who officiated 19 international games.
