Mudcrabs win at Pete Wilson Champs

Feb 6, 2022 | Uncategorized

History was created at Nelson Bay with Mudgee winning their maiden Pete Wilson Memorial Championships title.
The Mudcrabs’ under 12s girls were the victors after going through the two-day competition undefeated thanks largely due to their sensational defensive record – having only one try scored against them in seven games.
It is the first time a Mudgee side of any division has won a title at the junior Hornets tournament.
Mudgee sent 11 teams all with the purpose of one final hit-out before the Junior State Cup Northern Conference in Port Macquarie in late February.
