Mudcrabs to make Vawdon Cup debut

Aug 2, 2023 | Representative

Mudgee will make their debut in one of the toughest weekly touch football competitions in the world.

The Vawdon Cup is NSW Touch’s premier weekly event which sees teams, mostly from Sydney, go head-to-head each Friday night across several divisions.

Mudgee will become the latest club from regional NSW to try and shake up the teams from the “big smoke”.

The Mudcrabs will play in the Girls Youth League second division and will play against Bankstown, Canterbury, Carlingford, Central Coast, Ryde-Eastwood, Cronulla, University of NSW and Western Suburbs in the nine-round competition.
