Don Green champions

Mudgee was named the champion affiliate at the Don Green Western Junior Championships held at Glen Willow on the weekend.
Teams from Mudgee, Orange, Dubbo, Parkes, Scone, Newcastle and Muswellbrook took part in the annual tournament.
Mudgee had 11 teams competing with 10 of the sides making the finals.
The under 10s boys, under 10s girls, under 12s girls, under 16s boys and under 18s girls won their respective divisions.
The under 14s girls and under 18s boys were runners-up in their division, while the under 12s boys, under 14s boys and under 16s girls made the semi-finals.
